Few things bring a smile to Jonathans face quite like guiding kids to their first freshwater fish or to their biggest fish. Whereas some local Guides grudgingly allow kids to come aboard, we at Cloverleaf Anglers welcome junior anglers and can even tailor trips especially to kids regardless of their angling experience.
Jonathan grew up in the Milwaukee and Shawano area and was fishing before he could ride a bike. Jonathan never forgot his roots and knows what it takes to keep junior anglers excited and engaged during a four, six or eight-hour trip. Jonathan takes great pride in creating an enjoyable and memorable experience while he cultivates the next generation of freshwater anglers. Our freshwater species need the next generation to be compassionate custodians and Jonathan wants to do his part to teach junior anglers how to enjoy and protect our precious natural resources.
Jonathan also tailors the tackle and approach to junior anglers to ensure that they can get the maximum enjoyment from their angling experience, regardless of the species. Jonathan knows that kids just want to catch fish – and lots of them.
Jonathan delivers a comfortable and safe experience on board his spacious 19′ Bluefin Sportsman. The Sportsman has the room to keep the family from bumping into each other while enabling Jonathan to put junior anglers on fish that few boats can find. An awning easily extends over half the boat as a quick break from the heat of the day – especially great when eating lunch. The Sportsman is powered by a OMC Cobra 85 HP engine to enable Jonathan to hit all of the “spots”, “spot on spots”…and quickly. The Sportsman also features a Minn Kota iPilot trolling motor to navigate seamlessly along weed edges or hold steady in one place and a Hummingbird 10” Helix Mega Side Imaging fish finder to locate any potential fish in any area.
